I offer the following:
A full psychiatric evaluation, with time for a discussion of my diagnosis, and various treatment options. This generally takes about two hours.
Weekly talk therapy, generally 45-50 minutes, to help figure out solutions to difficult situations, learn more about yourself and others, and motivate you to make positive change in your life.
Psychiatric Medication Management
Ongoing monitoring and management of patients on psychoactive medications, generally shorter visits once a month or so. In addition to traditional medications, I am able to prescribe cutting-edge treatments for opiate and alcohol addiction, and chronic depression using medications such as suboxone and ketamine on an outpatient basis.
A long-term form of psychotherapy which attempts to bring into conscious awareness the effects of the unconscious mind on your thoughts and activities. Not for everyone, as it requires patience, the ability to tolerate emotional pain, and the ability to observe and verbalize your feelings.
